Mick and Carol Bicknell formed a Better Service in 1990. Starting off with just one lorry, since then the company has rapidly grown and there are now 20 vehicles on the road.
We carry out various services, to both commercial and domestic sectors and have undertaken work for local authorities for many years. With the addition of Mick and Carol’s sons the business is continuing to expand, and it is our hope that it will continue doing so for many more years to come.
Our fleet of rigid vehicles consists of 1000 gallon, 2000 gallon, 3000 gallon and 4000 gallon tankers, most of them are equipped with low volume high pressure jetting equipment. We also provide skip hire services across the region as well as a range of sewage treatment services. Blocked Drain Cleaning with High Pressure Jetting
One of our services is blocked gully cleaning and drain cleaning which is done with our high pressure jetting equipment. High pressure jetting is a very effective way of clearing blocked drains as it blasts the blockage out of the drainage system with a forceful jet of water, leaving little trace of the blockage afterwards. It is also a safe and thorough method of clearing blocked drains.
